This data is now available from Geoscience Australia, ACRES and Landsat distributors. When pooled with past Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO) epochs or time frames of satellite data, the 2004 data forms a unique 32-year visual record of landscape and vegetation change in Australia.
The 2004 epoch data is compiled from Landsat 5 data. The data is available for each epoch in 1:1M scale tiles or as an individual continental image of the Australian landmass. The cost of all 2004 epoch tiles in a single coordinate system is $650. The cost for all AGO epochs in one coordinate system, including the 2004 epoch, is $1500. Quoted prices apply for orders supplied on a customer supplied NTFS formatted USB drive.

Data samples from a range of earth observation satellites are now available online from ACRES.
Sample data enables users to download, view, compare and experiment with data prior to placing an order. Previously, sample data was only available on CD.
Samples include data from Landsat 7, Landsat 5, TERRA/ASTER, EO1, ERS, JERS and Radarsat satellites. They are provided in formats suitable for professional image processing systems. Samples are also provided in simple TIFF and JPG formats which are suitable for viewing on most desktop and home computers.
