Abstract

This theme depicts the tectonic/structural unit classification of the geology of Queensland. Geological unit attributes include unit name and unit rank (Super Province, Province, Subprovince, Structural Unit).

Purpose

Display the distribution of tectonic units within Queensland.

Supplementary Information

This data set can be supplemented with a map showing the geological units of Queensland (1975) as represented at a scale of 2 500 000. There is also a Publication No 383 Queensland Geology (1982). The data set is still under development.
