Geoscience Australia’s Community Safety team supports countries in the Indo-Pacific region to monitor the threat of volcanos and make decisions about risk.
We contribute to each stage of the emergency management cycle to help improve planning, preparedness, response and recovery with our focus on contributing towards community safety.
Our role
We support Australia’s international development assistance program, and countries in the Indo-Pacific to understand, monitor and build greater resilience to the threat of natural hazard events.
